A new community food festival is coming to Athens next month, giving residents a chance to sample dishes from a variety of local restaurants while supporting services for seniors.

Two iconic downtown Athens restaurants have announced upcoming closures for different reasons.

The Taste of Athens-Limestone is happening Monday, April 13, at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Athens, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
