Residents of three communities in the Back Mountain will soon transfer to a color-coded recycling system using three different bins. Yellow is for glass. Red is for plastic, aluminum, tin and steel.
In an effort to improve recycling rates, Providence is replacing trash and recycling bins citywide this spring.
