Everyone’s talking about 2016, but no one’s thinking what we’re thinking: dominoes. On this day in 2016, the first of 7,000 large dominoes made from breezeblocks and placed in a long line around Melbourne, was gently tipped over. It began a 2km-long procession of dominoes falling around Melbourne landmarks, before ending spectacularly on the forecourt at Arts Centre Melbourne, to cheering crowds. Part of the Betty Amsden Participation Program, the project was designed to help transform our city
