Now here’s a technique that’s simple and easy to use called the ‘Smudging Effect Technique’. To our semifinalists, do try it out! Here are the following steps: - Fill in the upper background with a light blue crayon. Leave some white space on the lower background. - Gently colour the lower side using the same light blue crayon. - Use a dark blue crayon and gently colour onto the lower light blue background. - Then, to create a smudge effect, use a white crayon to mix both the light and dark blue
