Hundreds of sea turtles came ashore on Mexico's La Escobilla Beach to make nests and lay eggs. According to the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas, La Escobilla is part of 15 kilometers of protected shoreline where olive ridley turtles come to nest in Mexico.
